Prayer Request for Hondurus

Dear Supporters of the Northwest Honduras Mission,

If the Lord touches your heart to give to us, or to pray for us, here are our needs and prayer requests.

There are a lot of needs here, but these are the most urgent:

1) We need 200 Bibles as soon as possible. A lot of people are getting saved, and each one of them needs a Bible. James can receive them via Priority Mail International at this address:

James W. Young - passed

Contact Global Network, Inc.

The best price we have found is with www.Bibles.com (American Bible Society). They cost $2.50 each for an entire Bible, paperback, Reina-Valera 1960 version, and shipping. (They call it an Outreach Bible. It is item no. 113066, and they come in 24 boxes, and each box weighs about 24 pounds.)

If you know anyone coming here via airline with an extra empty bag, they could bring about 40 Bibles without being overweight (or 60 Bibles if the weight limit is 70 lbs. rather than 50 lbs., which it is most of the time). Otherwise, you would have to ship them, which is doable but a little expensive.

2) We need two projectors to show movies in the churches.

3) We need about $6,000 to finish the Missionary House. It will take about $10,000 to finish it, and James has about $4,000 in hand.

4) We need a $50,000 fund to buy land and building materials to build churches. We have three churches actively under construction; some others are ready to start building, and others are still unfinished. We especially need ceramic tile in many of the already-built churches.

3) We need $200,000 for the first half of the 4,000-seat Tabernacle. (Total cost will be about twice that, but this is the figure the Lord gave us.)

4) We need $5,000,000 to buy the land and build the City of Refuge. (This is the amount the Lord gave us.)

Prayer requests, please:

1) Pray for a spirit of revival to hit all 14 churches.

2) Pray for the above-listed monies to come in.

3) Pray for Pastor Juan of 24 de Abril. He was an on-fire young pastor for several years, but he seems to have slipped back into the world, and his wife has to run the church. Only God can change him.

4) Please pray for Pastor David, Pastor Mario, Pastor Lito, and the other Honduran leaders of the Honduran ministry here (Mision Nacional Nueva Vida). They need to work together better, help each other more, and get behind the vision the Lord has given us. We need more unity, harmony, and vision in this ministry.

5) Pray for a full-time pastor for the mountain church in Nispero.

6) Pray for the pastor at San Marcos to come back into the fold and cooperate with and obey the ministry leadership. (Pray against rebellion for all the pastors and James.)

7) Pray for resolving the problems with the Christian TV station in Quimistan. They need over $1,000 to pay back bills and a combination administrator, bookkeeper, and fund-raiser to come alongside and help so they don't get into trouble again.

8) Pray that I would be closer to God, more committed, more anointed, and healthier.

Those are all the major prayer requests I can think of right now.

It is very important for a ministry or a church to have a vision.  The Bible says in Habakkuk 2:2-3:
And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.  For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
and in Proverbs 29:18:
Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

Right now the Lord is in the process of restoring His vision for Northwest Honduras in all of our hearts, and I would like to tell you about it and explain it to you, because very soon we will begin the work, and all of you are part of this vision, and we must have your help and your prayers, or we cannot build it.

First, what is a vision?  A vision is not a plan of men.  A vision is a plan of God.  To be a vision of God., the vision must be given to men by God, and confirmed by God, for example, confirmed by prophecy or dreams from God.  The Bible says in II Corinthians 13:1:
This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.

The group of projects included in this vision have all been confirmed by God.  This is not my vision.  It is much too large for my mind.  The Bible says in Isaiah 55:8-9:
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Only god can build a huge vision like this.

The first part of the vision will be built on the approx. seven acres that has already been purchased.  Here is a list of the projects:
Church – 5,000 sq. ft. (Built by faith.  Almost complete.)
Training Center Tabernacle for 4,000+ people for Bible College and Revival meetings (land cleared, graded)
Restroom building with showers
House for Missionaries with meeting/training room--2 story, 2000 sq. ft. (approx. 3/4 complete)
Pastor’s house
Administration/Office Bldg.
Sunday School Building
Dormitory Building
Bus Parking lot for 40-50 buses
      Cafeteria Building
Prayer Center (temporary structure recently torn down--to be re-built as a permanent open-air structure)
Small cooking/eating/serving center (existing temporary structure to be re-built as a permanent open-air structure)
Concrete and concrete block arroyo (drainage structure)

      Unconfirmed--Still Praying About:
            Additional Training rooms
            Bible College Building
            Diesel Generator

Overall site plan for the Training/Revival Center area.  The large eight-sided building is the 4,000+ seat training center (Bible College) and revival center.  The long building immediately to the left of it is the existing church which is fast approaching completion.  In the lower left corner is a small cooking, eating and serving center (see photo below).  The smaller eight-sided building is the cafeteria, and the small building between them is the restroom/showers.  At the top, from left to right:  Administration building, pastor's house, the house for missionaries and the prayer center.  Just below them is the sunday school building.  Missing from this plan is the dormitory.  In the future all of the green area to the right (east) will be a big lake, and the little dirt road at the bottom will be a two or four-lane international highway.

The main purpose for this part of the vision is to have a place to train Hondurans to be Pastors, Prophets, Apostles, Teachers and Evangelists, so they can be sent out to many other parts of Latin America to win souls.  Also it is a place for large revival meetings and multi-congregation meetings.  It will be a place of great anointing and great miracles, and many will come from miles around to train and worship here, because of the awesome presence and outpouring of the Lord.

But that is only a part of the vision.  The Lord also wants us to build a great city.  Here is a list of the projects for the City of Refuge:
Many acres of land in our possession (835 acres to start)
Parking lot for cars and extra buses (near the training center).
Warehouse with office (20,000 sq. ft. to start) (For missionary/church supplies and construction materials)
      Central Park
Health Clinic
Kindergarten or Day Care Center
Elementary School  (1st thru 6th grades)
High School
Orphanage
Hospital
Social center (Library/Internet Café/Restaurant)
5,000+ houses (just as a start)
Rental buildings for stores
Hotels
Restaurants
Large factory (something new and different)
Airport with 4,000-5,000 foot asphalt runway
Airplane for the Ministry (Propellor driven, perhaps a twin-engine)
Police or security force
Volunteer fire department
Several Buses
Work Trucks for construction and for the ministry
Infrastructure:  Streets (many paved), street lights, power lines, telephone lines, water lines, sewer lines, cable TV lines
Water system with pumps, tank, treatment equipment, and a pipeline from the mountains.
Sewage treatment plant
CATV head end building, equipment, and satellite dishes, including high-speed Internet system via satellite or fiber optics
Telephone Company Central Office

      Unconfirmed--Still Praying About:
      Electrical co-generation facility
Mining operation for natural resources (perhaps gold)

The Bible says in Psalm 113:7-9:
      He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;
That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.
He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD.
The purpose of this city is to raise up the poor.  It will be a model city, to show the people of Honduras what a city of God is like--a city planned and conceived in the heart of God and built and run by his hand-picked Christian servants whose heart is to help the people, and who will only receive a small wage.

Thousands of people will come to live and work here, as well as to worship the Lord Jesus Christ in the Tabernacle.  It will be a place where the people can work and receive a good wage and live in their own nice house.  It will be a tax-free zone, and all the money that would have gone for taxes or to government officials will go to improve the city and give the people a higher wage.

Many supplies will be received from the United States and other countries via the airport and truck/ship and stored in the warehouse to be sent all over Honduras for missionaries and ministries including some for the local area.  These supplies will include such things as Bibles, food, clothing, medical equipment and supplies, building supplies, and supplies to equip churches.

Many millions of dollars are needed to build this vision.  The Lord gave me a dream some time back that $5,200,000 would be coming in.  Then recently I was given a prophetic word that the money would come in this year (on or before December 31, 2010).  This money will be administered by the Board of Directors of Global Networks Emergency Response of Clarksville, TN.  We believe that the $200,000 is to be used to start building the Tabernacle building.  (God's house should always be first.)  And that the $5,000,000 is to be used to buy the land and begin construction on the city--Ciudad Refugio.

Of this first money, a ten percent first-fruits offering will be given to world missions (other than Global Networks), another ten percent as a tithe will be also given to world missions (other than Global Networks), and another ten percent offering will be used by Global Networks for administration and projects.  Of this last offering, a portion will be set aside for Mision Nacional Nueva Vida Honduras (the local Honduran ministry) as a fund to be administered by their Board of Directors for local churchs and other projects.  They will determine the priorities as they see fit.

The vision of Mision Nacional Nueva Vida Honduras is all about souls and church planting, and that is magnificent, but God's vision is about thousands and thousands of souls throughout all of Central America and beyond.  The financing for souls will come from donations for the City of Refuge.

However, we must have your support and your prayers.  Please pray every day for me, Prophet Michael Mainer and for this vision, and for the churches and directors of both Mision Nacional Nueva Vida Honduras and Global Networks Emergency Response.

God bless you all, and thank you for taking the time to read this.  Photos follow.

Prophet Michael and Pastor Lito.  The House for Missionaries (owned by the ministry) still needs about $30,000 to finish.  We have been building it by faith for several years now.  We believe we will finish it in less than two months when the money comes in.  It is being built completely by local laborers and myself working together.

The House for Missionaries from another side.
The House for Missionaries first floor plan as originally conceived.  The Washer/Dryer area was eliminated in favor of a larger bathroom, and the garage was closed in to make one big room for pastor meetings, or training sessions, or to house multiple short-term missionaries.  The bedroom and living room will be reserved for the Prophet when he is in the country or by the Executive Director of Global Networks or other invited guests as needed.
The House for Missionaries second floor plan.  Although the house is owned by the ministry, the Missionary in Residence and his family will be allowed to live here.

Prophet Michael Mainer and Pastor Eulalio (Lito) Sanchez in front of Iglesia El Fruto del Espiritu.  (It is the 5,000 square foot church in the lower lefthand corner of the above site plan.)  Pastor Lito and his people built this church by faith.  Very little money from the United States was received for it.  This church is experiencing a tremendous move of the Holy Spirit right now with many miracles taking place, strong anointing, many coming to Christ, the dead being raised, blind eyes opened, and many healings and deliverances.  Awesome revival.  The Lord really moves here.

Prophet Michael and Pastor Lito and a side view of El Fruto del Espiritu.  With 5,000 square feet, this is the largest of the Mision Nacional Nueva Vida Honduras churches.

Existing cooking, eating and serving area beside the church.  It is used for special events.  This will be replaced with a permanent open-air structure.

We have been told (and believe by faith) that this street will become the new location for the international highway when the Federal Government builds a damn at La Ceibita and floods the old highway.  This will also create a large lake to the east of the ministry's property and will put this project area right on the lake.  What a beautiful place it will be, and what an awesome plan the Lord has for this place!

"Welcome to Monte Sinai" (the prayer center) the sign says, and the original intercessory prayer team led by Yolanda Sanchez, Pastor Lito's wife.  Because of their passion for radical fasting and prayer and their faithful dedication to the vision, they are chiefly responsible for the birthing of the vision and for the money coming in.  These people are awesome.  I cannot say enough good things about them.  Their faith never once failed, even when they had to enter a House for Missionaries infested with many, many huge snakes (because of witchcraft prayers), and annoint the house and pray the snakes out.  Or when they went on a 21-day fast and prayed for the Lord to correct some serious internal problems in the Ministry leadership.  Their prayers are always answered, and I owe them my life.  This "galera" which has since been torn down will be replaced with a permanent open-air structure, and it is in my heart to place a permanent engraved monument here to honor them.  "The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man [or woman] avails much." James 5:16b

Clearing and grading of the land for the 4,000+ seat Tabernacle.  It is 200 feet in diameter.

The 4,000+ seat Tabernacle structure.  An open-sided, octagonal shaped building.  The foundation will soon be started.

Now is the time for you to sow some big seeds into this vision.  The soil doesn't get any better than this, and if you miss this opportunity, you will regret it for the rest of your life.  If you want 501-c3 credit for your income taxes, please send your check, earmarked for the NW Honduras Vision to:
